IS THE BIBLE RELIABLE? — “Has the Bible Been Changed Over Time?”

One of the most common claims is this: “The Bible has been changed so many times, we can’t trust what it says.”

It sounds convincing—until you actually examine the evidence.

The Bible is not a single book written at one time. It is a collection of writings preserved across centuries. What makes it unique is the overwhelming number of ancient manuscripts we still have today—far more than any other ancient text.

When scholars compare these manuscripts, they don’t find chaos—they find consistency. Yes, there are minor variations in wording, but none of them change the core message. The story remains intact: God’s pursuit of humanity through Jesus Christ.

Even the discovery of ancient scrolls—long before modern printing—confirmed that what we have today is remarkably accurate.

But beyond manuscripts, the Bible also proves itself through history. It references real places, real people, and real events. Archaeology has repeatedly confirmed details that critics once doubted.

The question is no longer, “Has the Bible changed?”
The better question is, “Are we willing to examine the evidence honestly?”

Because when we do, we don’t find a corrupted message—we find a preserved one.
