WHY DOES GOD ALLOW SUFFERING? — “Where Is God in the Pain?”

If God is good, why is there so much suffering?

This question doesn’t come from textbooks—it comes from real pain. Loss. Betrayal. Brokenness.

And it deserves an honest answer.

God created a world with real freedom. That means love is real—but so is the possibility of evil. Much of the suffering we see is the result of human choices.

But that’s not the full story.

God does not stand distant from suffering—He steps into it. The Christian message is not that God explains away pain—it’s that He enters into it through Jesus.

Suffering may not always make sense in the moment. But it is not meaningless. It can shape, refine, and redirect us in ways comfort never could.

The presence of suffering does not prove God is absent.
Sometimes, it reveals how deeply we need Him.
